Giannis Antetokounmpo

Giannis Antetokounmpo is a basketball player for the Milwaukee Bucks© in the National Basketball Association. He was born in Athens, Greece. His nickname is "The Greek Freak". Antetokounmpo is 6 foot and 11 inches tall, and weighs 242 pounds. He wears the number 34 and plays the power forward position. Giannis was drafted in 2013 with the 15th pick. In 8 seasons, Giannis has been an All-Star 5 times, All-NBA 5 times, All-Defensive 4 times, and All-Rookie 1 time. He has won Most Improved Player, Defensive Player of the Year, All-Star Game MVP, Finals MVP, and League MVP (twice). In 2021, Giannis led the Milwaukee Bucks to an NBA Championship, ending a 40 year drought.

Giannis is a unique talent due to his combination of size, speed, and strength. He has the body and physicality of a center, but has the skills and decision-making of a point guard. Every season that he has been in the NBA, he has improved the areas of his game that could be considered weaknesses. As a rookie, he was considered too skinny to be effective, as he weighed a modest 190 pounds. He now weighs much more and uses power as one of his most important assets. He has improved his passing, rebounding, defending, and outside shooting. Today, Giannis is considered one of the best basketball players in the world. Some argue that he is on track to be the greatest basketball player of all time, as he is only 26 years old.
